About BVS Social Manager

BVS Social Manager is a multi-brand publishing application operated by BVS Medya (bvsmedya.com) that uploads pre-produced, doctor-reviewed video content prepared by the BVS editorial board across four content axes: Health (neurosurgery and spine surgery patient education, including the "Atlas Soruyor" series), Technology (artificial intelligence and digital health), Politics (geopolitical analysis) and Art (music production under the Doctor Zagor / BVS Records brand). Content is published to the TikTok, YouTube and Meta accounts of six brands in the BVS portfolio of brands (Dr. Özgür Akşan, Beyinvesinir, Beyin Cerrahisi, Dr. Özgür Akşan Health Türkiye, BVS Doctors, Laurasia 2050). This Privacy Policy explains what data BVS Social Manager and bvsmedya.com collect and how that data is used.

1. TikTok API Usage by BVS Social Manager

BVS Social Manager uses the TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API solely to publish videos that have been produced and reviewed in advance by the BVS editorial team to the brand-owned TikTok accounts listed above. The app requests the scopes user.info.basic, video.upload and video.publish. Data accessed via TikTok API (display_name, open_id, avatar_url) is used only to confirm the authenticated partner brand account inside the platform's editorial dashboard. We do not store TikTok user data in external databases, do not share it with third parties, and do not use it for advertising or analytics. You may revoke BVS Social Manager's authorization at any time from your TikTok account settings.

1a. YouTube API Services

BVS Social Manager uses YouTube API Services to upload pre-produced videos to YouTube channels owned by the BVS portfolio of brands, including Laurasia 2050 (youtube.com/@Laurasia2050). By using features that rely on YouTube API Services, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Data accessed via YouTube API Services is limited to the identity and title of our own channels, and the videos, titles, descriptions and playlists that we upload ourselves. We do not access, collect or store data about other YouTube users or viewers. OAuth tokens are stored only on our own local computers, are never exposed to the public website, and are not shared with third parties.

You can revoke BVS Social Manager's access to a Google account at any time via Google security settings. To request deletion of any data related to YouTube API Services, contact [email protected]; we delete it within 30 days.

2. Data Collected on bvsmedya.com

On the public bvsmedya.com website we may collect name, email address and message content submitted via the contact form. Standard server access logs are kept for security purposes.

3. How Data Is Used

Data collected through the contact form is used solely to reply to your inquiry. Data accessed via TikTok API and YouTube API Services is used solely by BVS Social Manager for the publishing workflows described in sections 1 and 1a. We do not sell or share data with third parties.

4. Cookies

Our website may use cookies for basic functionality. You can disable cookies from your browser settings. BVS Social Manager itself does not set tracking cookies.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption. TikTok access tokens used by BVS Social Manager are stored encrypted on our private servers and are not exposed to the public website.

6. Your Rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, and you may revoke BVS Social Manager's TikTok authorization at any time from your TikTok account settings.
